- Are all gates self-closing and self-latching from all positions?
- Are all latching devices at least 1500mm from the ground or 150mm below the top edge if located on the poolside?
- Do all gates open away from the pool?
- Is there a non-climbable pool barrier all the way around the pool?
- Is the pool fence at least 1200mm high or (1800 mm high where non-climbable zone is on poolside)?

- Have you ensured that there are no objects such as pot plants, rocks or climbable plants within the non-climbable zone?
- Are all gaps in the pool barrier no greater than 100mm?
- Are there any windows that open into the pool enclosure? If yes, do they open no greater than 100mm?
- Is the pool barrier undamaged?
- Is there a compliant CPR sign? (see fact 4 on home page) If not, we can supply and install on day of inspection.
